Abstract

Глобализацијата е дефинирана на многу начини. За некои толкувачи, таа Ñе однеÑува на интегрираниот културен и економÑки ÑиÑтем; други пак, глобализацијата ја дефинираат како ÐºÐ¾Ð¼Ð¿Ð»ÐµÐºÑ Ð½Ð° процеÑи Ñо кои Ñе зголемуваат Ñтепенот на развој и обемот на глобалната интеракција. Со оглед на ÑоÑтојбите во поново време, дејÑтвувањето на овие процеÑи можеме да го лоцираме во периодот на модерната. Од Втората ÑветÑка војна глобализациÑките процеÑи Ñе интензивираат, поÑебно преку ширењето на поÑредувани информации и Ñлики.

Џеф Луис, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia
Jeff Lewis, PhD  is Associate Professor, RMIT, Australia. His Research interests are in media and political violence, cultural theory; transculturalism; new communications technology; textual studies; globalization studies; cultural democracy and the media, cultural politics and community recovery, te Australia-Indonesia communications relationship, Balinese and Indonesian culture, cultural crisis. Publications: Crisis in the Global Mediasphere: Desire, Displeasure and Cultural Transformation, (2010); Bali’s Silent Crisis: Desire, Terror and Transition (2009); Cultural Studies (2008) Language Wars: The Role of Media and Culture in Global Terror and Political Violence (2005), etc. Jeff Lewis has published over forty refereed papers, book chapters and conference papers. He has published newspapers articles, magazine articles, short stories, poems and songs. Jeff Lewis has been a Fellow in the Centre for Civil Society, London School of Economics
